Four Arrested for Burglary in Titusville

TITUSVILLE, Florida -- Three adults and one juvenile were arrested late Monday evening for burglary in Titusville, according to a news release from the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.  


On Monday, September 17, 2012 at approximately 11:45 p.m. deputies responded to an alarm call at the Parrish Packing House located at 2900 Parrish Road in North Titusville.  Upon arriving on scene, deputies observed flashlights inside the building and set up a perimeter around the building.  Deputies approached the building observed two males and immediately took them into custody.  Another male and female were observed running toward the rear of the property.  Deputies quickly closed in and apprehended the two as they attempted to flee through the orange groves at the rear of the property.


A short time later, deputies discovered the suspect’s vehicle at a vacant house located on Parrish Road. During the investigation, deputies discovered wire and burglary tools on the premises.  


32-year-old Michael Keith Simmons of Cape Canaveral, Florida was charged with Burglary and Petit Theft. Mr. Simmons is a prison release re-offender, released in 2012 for burglary from the Florida Department of Corrections.


19-year-old John Michael Gonzalez of Merritt Island, Florida was charged with Burglary and Petit Theft. Gonzalez admitted to being out on bond from a previous burglary arrest. 


20-year-old Patrick Sean Coats

20-year-old Patrick Sean Coats who's last address was Merritt Island, Florida was charged with Burglary and Petit Theft.  Mr. Coats admitted to being on felony probation for a previous burglary and was additionally charged with Violation of Probation. 


16-year-old Kristina D. Zylstra of Merritt Island was charged with Burglary and Petit Theft. 


The three adults were transported and held at the Brevard County Jail.  The female juvenile was transported the Juvenile Detention Center in Sharpes, Florida.
